How do I respond to a message that I know came through Spirit?
"Intuition is when God is speaking in-tu-it, and the 'it' happens to be you.""
~Dr. Loretta Standley
My intuition is my Compass (Source) that tells me when to go and what to do.
For a more enriching experience, go down on your knees to pray or take it one step further and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying.
Father, You have a Divine Purpose and Design for everything and Your Word will not come back to You void. I trust Your Word and I trust Your Actions. Father, I know You made me on purpose, this I am certain. I am here on purpose for You, to do Your Will. My desire is to respond to You just like Mary did with full Faith and acceptance even when something seems entirely impossible. Mary questioned the Angel Gabriel not out of a lack of trust or Faith in You, but more out of spiritual awe and wonderment. Mary was on board from the get go. Father my desire is to please You, just like Mary demonstrated for me. My desire is to follow You and do whatever it is that You Purposed for me. My mind is open, my heart is willing and my body is able. Mary said, "Let it be to me according to Your Word," so from this day forward my response to You will also be, "Let it be to me according to Your Word." Ever Loving Father, I ask You to fill my spirit with Your Holy Spirit so that I may hear and see; do and speak what is pleasing to You.
Through Jesus Christ's Most Precious Blood, Most Sacred Name and Most Holy Face, I thank You for this awareness. Amen~
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke
Luke 1:26-38
26 In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,
27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
28 And he came to her and said, "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you!"
29 But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered in her mind what sort of greeting this might be.
30 And the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus.
32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to Him the throne of His father David,
33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of His kingdom there will be no end."
34 And Mary said to the angel, "How shall this be, since I have no husband?"
35 And the angel said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called Holy, the Son of God.
36 And behold, your kinswoman Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son; and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren.
37 For with God nothing will be impossible."
38 And Mary said, "Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to Your Word." And the angel departed from her.
