and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying.
Father, even though I have read today's reading many times over, today it was quite an eye-opener. Once again, Jesus shows how much He can relate to us. Jesus knew that the people following Him were not in it for spiritual enLightenment. The people had just gotten a belly full of food and either they thought they knew where their next meal was coming from or they wanted to be entertained by another miracle. Either way, they were not in it for the spiritual substance, they were in it for physical world satisfaction. The people pretended to be all surprised when they found Jesus on the other side of the sea, when Jesus was exactly who they were looking for. It was 'as if' they were saying, "Oh fancy meeting you here" like they had accidentally bumped into Him. Jesus was on to them from the start, so they may as well have said, "Hey got any more of those loaves and fishes?" Jesus knew when someone was trying to get close to Him for a spiritual connection rather than buddying up to Him in order to get physical satisfaction. In other words, Jesus knew when someone was trying to use Him. Father, not only has someone done this to me, I have done it someone else. Thank You for this reading that shows me just how much Jesus can relate to us. This also reminds me of when I pray to get something from You instead of praying to praise You. Now that my awareness is increased, my intentions will be clearer as I move along my spiritual progression path. Thank You!

John 6:22-29
22 On the next day the people who remained on the other side of the sea saw that there had been only one boat there, and that Jesus had not entered the boat with His disciples, but that His disciples had gone away alone.
23 However, boats from Tiber'i-as came near the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks.
24 So when the people saw that Jesus was not there, nor His disciples, they themselves got into the boats and went to Caper'na-um, seeking Jesus.
25 When they found Him on the other side of the sea, they said to Him, "Rabbi, when did you come here?"
26 Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves.
27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal Life, which the Son of man will give to you; for on Him has God the Father set His seal."
28 Then they said to Him, "What must we do, to be doing the works of God?"
29 Jesus answered them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent."
