For a more enriching experience,
go down on your knees to pray or take it one step further
and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying.
Father, today's reading is so powerful and deep that I had to read it several times very slowly to let each sentence seep into my spirit. Just like the wind, I have no doubt that You exist. I cannot see the wind but I can feel it. I cannot see the wind but I hear it. I cannot see the wind but I can see its actions. Just like the wind, I can feel, hear and see that You exist. You are so much easier to experience than You are given credit.
Today's reading also reminds me of my spiritual rebirth with You. Being born in the flesh and living solely in the flesh is a very uncomfortable and lonely existence. Being born in the flesh is a struggle and chore without being accompanied by spiritual enLightenment. Being reborn into 'spiritual renewal' reminds me that I am first born in spirit, from Your Spirit. Father, every single day I want to wake up renewed, refreshed and reminded that I am of Your Spirit. I know who my Daddy is! I know where my spiritual DNA originates! Every single day I want that spiritual reawakening and enLightenment that begins with You. I always feel so much more alive and peaceful when I begin my day reflecting on You and Your Will. I thank You so much for making me strong in Your Spirit, excited and happy to be part of You and being bold enough to proclaim it. I Love You.
Through Jesus Christ's Most Precious Blood, Most Sacred Name and Most Holy Face, I thank You for this awareness. Amen~
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John
John 3:1-8
1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicode'mus, a ruler of the Jews.
2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do, unless God is with him."
3 Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
4 Nicode'mus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"
5 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Do not marvel that I said to you, `You must be born anew.'
8 The wind blows where it wills, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know whence it comes or whither it goes; so it is with every one who is born of the Spirit."
