  Elecampane contains the minerals calcium, potassium and sodium.  Elecampane is one of the richest sources of natural insulin and has been used to treat the pancreas.  It also works best when combined with other herbs that treat the same conditions.  Elecampane also has antiseptic properties.
  Elecampane works well for intestinal worms, to promote healthy and firm gums, tooth decay and for water retention.  It also works well as an expectorant, therefore it helps respiratory and catarrhal conditions.
