Dandelion

DESCRIPTION: Dandelion root is a rich source of the minerals potassium, calcium and sodium. It is also rich in Vitamin A, B, C and E. Dandelion root is a traditional liver tonic used by Native Americans and Europeans for centuries to help promote healthy digestion and cleansing.

POTENTIAL BENEFITS: Natural diuretic and digestive aid. Dandelion benefits the liver and helps to detoxify the liver. Dandelion is considered a valuable survival food source because it contains all of the nutritive salts necessary to purify the blood. The juice from the broken stem can be applied to warts. After 2 or 3 days the wart should dry up and fall off. The Dandelion juice can also be used for acne, blisters and corns.

GENERAL USAGE: Dandelion may be used for age spots, anemia, external blisters, lowering blood pressure, purifying the blood, colon disorders, corns, cramps. Dermatitis, diabetes, eczema, endurance and fatigue, fever, gall bladder dysfunction, gout, hypoglycemia, liver disorders, stimulates the metabolism, psoriasis and other skin conditions and warts.
