Dear Dr. Standley: (Healer/Artist Seeking Guidance)
My story is long and complicated and I don't know really where to start. However, I am a healer as well who has been working for what seems like an eternity to find happiness and balance with in myself and I feel like I am so close and then I am dished out with something that brings me back to that dark cloud again. I am an artist with a very big mission here. I am 25 and need to get this worked out. I feel I need a mentor of some type and some guidance on my healing process. I don't know if you are the one that is supposed to help me or you can point me in the right direction of how to start.
Thank You.
Love and Light.
Jennifer
Dear Jennifer:
What type of healer are you? What type of artist are you?
Those times when you are "dished out" something that brings you back to a dark cloud again are the times where a lesson is in store. If you are having to repeat something, then choose to find the cold hard Truth in the lesson.
Keep working on yourself.
By the time you are 29, it will start coming together loud and clear. This does not mean that it cannot come together before you turn 29, but it does mean that you will have a dose of wisdom that will cause you to say to yourself, "What the heck was I thinking?"
Think about when you were 19 and how much you thought you knew. It's hilarious when you think about it!
Embrace your Life as an adventurous journey. It will make those dark clouds easier to deal with and sometimes even laughable.
Anyone who ever started a mission in Life, walked with many dark clouds over their head. How one handles the dark clouds makes all the difference in the world.
Being a healer myself, I can tell you that I would not have nearly the experience or wisdom (that my ego thinks it does . . wink, wink) unless I went through some rough times myself. OUCH!!!
As far as finding happiness and balance in Life . . . it's a daily choice.
Write me anytime.
A Bazillion Blessings~ Dr. Standley
