VENUS QUINCUNX SATURN

A quincunx is where two (2) signs pretty much have nothing in common and sit there wondering what to do about each other. It's like they are saying, "What now?" This is how you feel completely uncomfortable in your own family, or with people you should feel comfortable with, but yet you have nothing in common, and sometimes you have nothing to even fight over, so you might just make something up in order to tango/tangle.

It's weird and uncomfortable energy to say the least. You just cannot seem to land in the same space and it's like you are coming from different worlds that are not even opposite worlds. Further, a quincunx is an angle that sits at 150 degrees, which is between a trine at 120 degrees and an opposition at 180 degrees.

Venus quincunx Saturn does not show Love freely and is a bit uptight. Saturn takes off his belt and wraps it around Venus (Love and money). Saturn is the worker-bee planet of the zodiac. So it stands to reason that this aspect shows its commitment and relationship dedication through work. "Can't you see I'm working this hard for our family!!!"

This aspect is career focused, which in turn causes one to avoid intimacy and closeness. "I have to work" is what will keep others from connecting and having that date night.

A quincunx requires an adjustment or change, which means stop what you are doing and spend time with your relationship (or family). Relationship courtesy is thrown right out the window with this aspect as work becomes the chronic theme.

This aspect is telling you to spend time becoming an - us, we and our. And if you are single, are you currently the person you want to be as an - us, we and our in the future? If not, then get busy 'becoming' your half of the whole. Apparently you are being given time to figure this out.

Venus quincunx Saturn is working late. KNOCK IT OFF! The problem with this aspect is that it fears intimacy and uses work to get around it. Think of intimacy as in-to-me-see. That phrase is a long-held psychology perspective. Venus quincunx Saturn reveals the one who fears intimacy will resort to hard work as a way of avoiding in-to-me-see. Interestingly enough, the avoidance is pretty darn telling.

The fix is easy, which is to allow time for your relationships so you can become the best - us, we and our.

When my Scorpion King and I met, we were both single individuals FOR YEARS! He did things his way, and I did things my way. It took us a while to become an - us, we and our. After I moved in he couldn't find the pepper because it was in a new place and he would comment about it. Then he couldn't find something else. I would smart-assy chime in and say, "Oh really! Well I moved my entire F'ing Life! How about that?! ALL OF MY STUFF is in a different place!" Defensive much? LOL! Oh those were the days!

Being single for a long time has its drawbacks because you can easily get locked and trapped in your world thereby not making any room for anyone else. Venus is a negotiator and meditator being the natural ruler of Libra. Something has to give. Venus is a give/give planet, not give/take. If someone is giving and someone is taking, then I guarantee you someone is pissed off.

It took us a while to do things our way. Now we can say, "This is what 'we' do. This is where 'we' like to go. This is how 'we' like to decorate. This is how 'we' pack for a trip. We we we we, all the way home."

It also took adjusting to what 'we' were doing separately and giving time to each other to become an US, WE and OUR. Now we are 'we people'. Think about that, "Giving time to each other." Sometimes giving is just an ear (listening). Not talking, simply listening. STEP AWAY FROM THE DEVICES and talk to your partner (or others).
