MERCURY OPPOSING NEPTUNE

This aspect depicts conflict which, when resolved, results in growth. Oppositions show a tug of war between opposing forces. If they are resolved, then the oppositions become the backbone and strength of the chart.

It is important to understand that Mercury rules the reasoning and conscious mind that forms conclusions. Mercury is intellectual, it is the thinker, while Neptune is in-tune. Think of Neptune as being intuitive, in-tune and tuning in like a Tune-Ah-Fish, since Neptune is the ruler of Pisces (the fish).

This aspect reveals you can be easily seduced into believing other people's ideas, which means you may be confused in your own thinking and can therefore be easily deceived. You need to trust your own thoughts rather than relying on the thoughts of others. This also means you are 'sensitive' to the thoughts, ideas and motivations of others.

While this aspect is mentally telepathic, it is unconsciously telepathic, which makes it easy to fall into deceit or trickery by others. Do not believe everything you see or hear. Smack yourself and open your eyes! At the same time, it could be you who is attempting to out-think and out-maneuver someone else where you could be the one who is deceitful or the trickster.
