MELCHIZEDEK ~ ANGEL OF PEACE Back to 7 Archangels / Back to Main Angel Page DOMINION: This heavenly being is the chief angel of the Order of Virtues. He is considered a celestial virtue of great Grace whose function in heaven is like the one Christ has on earth. Melchizedek is mentioned in both the old and new testaments. He was the "Christ-like" One in the old testament and His Order was called, "The Order of Melchizedek," which is the same Order that Jesus was under, just as Jesus was born under the House of David. Even during a Catholic Mass, sometimes the Priest will say, "by the Order of Melchizedek . . . " or something to His reference. GUIDANCE: Angel of Peace SAMPLE AFFIRMATION: I AM embracing my own Christ-like presence and using this presence to positively effect myself and others. SAMPLE PRAYER: Melchizedek (Mel-kay-sae-dik), you were given incredible power and virtue by God to do great things on earth. Grand me the support, peace and blessings that I desire in order to live a more "Christ-like" Life too. Your orders over goodness, morality, ethics and integrity is something I desire to be also. I AM asking for your Divine Intercession to help me be the person that I know I can be. Through Jesus Christ's Precious, Pure and Holy name I pray. - Amen

Genesis 14:18 - And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.

Psalms 110:4 - The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 5:6 - As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Hebrews 5:10 - Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

Hebrews 6:20 - Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Hebrews 7:1 - For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;

Hebrews 7:10 - For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.

Hebrews 7:11 - If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

Hebrews 7:15 - And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,

Hebrews 7:17 - For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Hebrews 7:21 - (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)
