What do you do when you know there will be damage, but you just don't know how much damage there will be . . . yet?
Over the next 1-1/2 years we will wake up every morning sensing the limitation, restriction, reprimand and caution of Capricorn energy breathing down our neck. First let's get more familiar with Capricorn energy. To make it simple . . . Capricorn isn't convinced, it is doubtful. Capricorn isn't trusting, it is cynical. Capricorn isn't certain, it is skeptical. Capricorn isn't positive, it is negative. Capricorn isn't optmistic, it is pessimistic.
Dang! Sorry to throw such trash your way, but in my world of wonderment it is best to know as much as possible and be prepared rather than to sit around and wonder. Someone has to have a sober mind and sober emotions at all times and that job is laid upon Capricorn. While everyone around the boardroom table thinks something is a great idea and is high-fiving, Capricorn stands up and says, "What! Are you all stupid? What the hell are you thinking?" And then lays out all the reasons why there is nothing to celebrate. Talk about raining on a parade. Capricorn has a military tone and comes off like a drill sargeant. Capricorn is the killjoy in the group who makes certain there will be someone sober enough to drive, even if everyone on the block is walking home. I know, right?
Now that you get the idea of Capricorn, let's add some players (planets) to see why we foresee the need for damage control.
You may have already read my monster-size write-up on Pluto in Capricorn. Pluto has been in Capricorn since November 26, 2008 and will last until January 20, 2024. Pluto is a planet that wants, seeks, takes and must have power. At the same time, it needs an outlet to channel the power. Since you have read or will probably read the monster-size write-up for Pluto in Capricorn, then I won't repeat myself here, but just remember that Pluto is power-hungry, it is volatile, volcanic and looking for someone or something to manipulate and take advantage of it. The gift in Pluto is that it also has the power to transform and manipulate something thereby causing something better to rise up out of the ashes, like the Phoenix Rising. Every single one of us have Pluto 'in a sign' in our natal chart, which is where we seek and/or channel our power.
We are also experiencing Saturn in Capricorn, which has been present since December 19, 2017 until December 16, 2020. I still have yet to create that monster-size write-up, which now I am forced to sit down and write since I am writing this article. So we can look forward to that article tomorrow, which I will link to this page.
For now, Saturn is the natural ruling planet of Capricorn, so it is quite comfortable in its 'Home' placement. Saturn is the planet who wears a belt and who represents the father figure. Saturn will take off his belt and swat your ass if he needs to, but he doesn't want to. Saturn is the proud papa who wants to have a bumper sticker on the back his car that says, "My kid is a Marine!" "My kid made the honor roll.!" "My kid made the Dean's list!" That's what Saturn wants. Saturn does not take C's very well at all and believes a 'C' grade means you put it on 'cruise control' and didn't put forth enough effort. Saturn, when necessary, will tighten his belt to squeeze, restrict, limit, compress, push down, push in, hold down, ground and stablize you in order to make you more self-disciplined, self-correcting and self-motivated. Saturn has a way of making you responsible, mature and on time, as Saturn is the ruler of time (Father Time). Saturn and Capricorn are the workers of the zodiac, who don't take off work for a cold or a hangover. So the question during Saturn in Capricorn (December 19, 2017 until December 16, 2020) is, "Do you need to be reprimanded, limited, restricted or squeezed?" Because if you do, Saturn will take off his belt and let you have it. So many people dread the appearance of Saturn, but Saturn will only swat your ass if you need it. So, do you need it? What Saturn really wants is to reward you and give you the keys to the car or even buy you a car because he's so darn proud of you. Do you think you made Saturn proud?
Then there is the South Node in Capricorn that will arrive on the scene on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 the day of the U.S. mid-term election. The South Node represents the 'bottomless pit', which means no matter how much energy you put into it, it is simply not enough. It's like having a hole in your pocket where no matter what you put into your pocket, it simply falls straight through and will not hold. This is where you are to focus on the North Node to keep from wasting your time filling up the South Node.
The South Node will be in Capricorn, the ruler of the 10th house. This 10th house that rules fame, honor, notoriety, occupation, career, profession, life's direction, achievements, hierachy, mastery, ambition, government, military, the police, security guards, protectors, father, father figures, authority, authority figures, chief executives, business life, goals, ranks, political position, status, standing in the public eye, position in society and public life and recognition outside of the home and family. It shows your standing in the community and social status. It can reflect your attitude to parenting.
Now that we have identified all of the players (Pluto, Saturn and the South Node) and their responsibilities, the question remains, why does there need to be 'damage control' and why is Pluto, Saturn and the South Node a 'triple threat'? First of all, these are very challenging energies on their own without being snuggled up to the other.
Pluto in Capricorn standing alone is trouble enough (read the article) without any help from its friends. This transit has had masses of people marching in the street with their fists in the air since 2008 and shows no signs of letting up. Pluto in Capricorn shows us hunger for power and sex from celebrities, politicians, actors, CEO's, athletes, etc. Pluto in Capricorn hungers for power, thrives on power and will seek power at all costs. By the way, not only does Saturn rule the police, but so does PLUTO! Remember the Pluto in Capricorn write-up with violence against the police and uprising against authority figures (police)?
Saturn in Capricorn is as serious as a heart attack. This transit can be so serious that many cannot handle the strictness, discipline and regimen that Saturn in Capricorn requires in order to stay happy and will attempt to rebel and do their own thing. Nothing makes Saturn in Capricorn happier than when people fall in line, on time, without a smile on their face. This is not the way of the world right now. What people thrive on is drama, whether it is creating their own drama, or watching other people's drama on TV. Saturn cannot stand fanfare, drama or crying. Saturn will whip you and your inner-child into shape so fast that you will know who is in charge and you're not!
The South Node in Capricorn is sitting nearby just waiting for you to screw up with Saturn in Capricorn and Pluto in Capricorn. When these two (2) planets get close enough to the South Node in degrees (a conjunction), the energy will feel just like it rolled into the bottomless pit (South Node) and then correcting this energy will be like trying to crawl out of a slippery cylinder that is 50 feet long. Get the picture? The right thing to do is self-correct, self-discipline and self-monitor so that you never even get these energies close enough to need to call on 'damage control' such as a winch, a crane, an ambulance or a phone call to your lawyer. Do you understand? Stand self-corrected at all times. Stay out of trouble!
And let's not forget that the Sun in Capricorn will enter the picture on Friday, December 21, 2018 until Sunday, January 20, 2019 where yet another will roll its energy into the South Node.
Keep in mind the Nodes are always 'Retrograde'. Always! So they begin their transit at 29 degrees 59 minutes 59 seconds and go backward from there. So the first planet in Capricorn that the South Node in Capricorn will make contact with will be Pluto in Capricorn. We will feel the rumblings of Pluto conjunct the South Node right out of the gate as the South Node moves into Capricorn on November 6, 2018 at 29 degrees 59 minutes 59 seconds and as Pluto in Capricorn will be at 19 degrees (within that 10 degree orb of influence). It won't be at exact degrees until March 30, 2019 but it will certainly will be within an 'orb of influence' of 10 degrees where we will feel Pluto nearing the big ol' bottomless pit everyday until March 30, 2019.
As you can see from the graphic to the right, I have the Moon placed near the South Node in Capricorn on each example, simply because the Moon will be in Capricorn for 2 to 2-1/2 days each month. And every-single-time the Moon rolls into Capricorn, it will also roll into the bottomless pit of the South Node in Capricorn thereby draining us of our emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities.
Mercury in Capricorn will roll into the bottomless pit of the South Node in Capricorn on January 21, 2019.
Notice how I have Pluto in the bottom of the pit on each example. That's because it is within the 'orb of influence' the whole time during this example of the first half of 2019.
Also notice how I have Saturn floating around the perimeter until it drops into the bottomless pit on April 21, 2019 and June 28, 2019.
So you see folks, there is a lot of South Node (bottomless pit) action occurring that is going to completely drain our energies, not only in our personal life (natal chart), but on a community level, on a national level and on a global level because whatever is occurring on a global level, is occurring on a national level, is occurring on a community level and is occurring on a personal level. We have global authority figures, national authority figures, community authority figures and authority figures in our own life.
This is why it is important to follow the news of the day when you are studying astrology so you can see how this twists down to you. {Keep reading ] . . .
As we watch the scene with immigration playout in the United States, we are going to see one helluva mess. Not only is Saturn in Capricorn, which naturally rules the Democrat Party, but Jupiter in Sagittarius naturally rules the Republican Party. Also keep in mind that Cancer rules inside the home, the homeland, and the home, family and the mother; while Capricorn rules outside of the home, public life, career, profession and the father and/or authority figures. The North Node has Jupiterian qualities, which is represented in the North Node Cancer, and the South Node has Satturnian qualities, which is represented through the South Node Capricorn.
Looking at this entire picture and an upcoming mid-term election, all of these planets dumping into the South Node are not only going to put the squeeze on the Democrat party, it has the ability to crush the Democrat party so bad that it literally disbands and breaks. This energy could easily break party lines so that they are none anymore here in the U.S. Jupiter e-x-p-a-n-d-s whatever it touches and since it is touching the Republican Party, this could blow up so BIG that it literally blows it to smithereens. I suppose we could say that both parties end up getting blown apart and neither will be needed anymore. Wouldn't this be crazy if it turned out to the case?
As this transformational shift continues (remember my Pluto in Capricorn monster-size write-up?), Pluto seeks to level everything only to rebuild it. As the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Saturn come and come throughout the life of this South Node, we are going to go through a lot of pain, hardship and frustration. We will all go through it differently, but the more you know, the more you can be prepared and you will have handled the energy better than you would have if you had not been aware of it at all.
My attempt with this write-up is to circulate the awareness of 'damage control'. I do not believe there will be a blue wave at mid-terms. I do not believe it will be even a blue trickle. This South Node along with all of these other planets is set to change government so drastically that you won't even recognize it from month to month. {Keep reading ] . . .
I saw a meme on Facebook that said,
"10.31 - Halloween.
11.1 Day of the Dead.
11.4 Set your clocks ahead.
11.6 Take Your Country Back."
That was the creepiest damn meme I had seen in a long time. First I thought, "Ummmm, the public did take their country back two (2) years ago during the general election, so whoever made that meme, you missed it!" Second, I looked at the first two dates and it creeped me out that whoever made the meme associated two creepy dates with taking back the country. Aren't people acting like monsters enough? Dang! And hey, November 1st is 'All Saint's Day' but I guess for the creepers they call it the 'Day of the Dead'. Watch it folks, watch who you associate your energy with because we are going into some creep-fest times when you will be seeing people acting like monsters. Think about it folks, Pluto rules the 'underworld'. This is real stuff we are going through and it is important to keep your spiritual-self in check.
