The BIG NEWS today is the Sun moves into Sagittarius. Once we get out from underneath the quincunxes at the start of the day that are causing us to feel weird and uncomfortable, the day will move along quite nicely. The Sun will sextile Pluto, which is a powder keg of explosive energy, with the day ending in a sextile to Jupiter, which is double-delicious since Jupiter is the Sagittarius ruling planet.

Having said that, it's an all-around great day for a modern-day crusade. Think of Sagittarius as the sign who led the crusades back in medieval times. The Crusades were military led expeditions on horseback because no planes, trucks and tanks existed back then. The Crusades were pretty much religious wars between the Christians and the Muslims.

In modern-day Sagittarius mind, the Sag is all about religious freedom, to either believe or practice a religion, or not at all if they choose.

Sagittarius is the opposite sign of Gemini, so while Gemini rules the mind, mental abilities, telepathy and the intellect, Sagittarius takes that energy to higher levels of thought like - philosophy, ethics, philanthropy, religion, prophecy, politics, foreign culture, the higher thinking mind such as higher education and advanced degrees ruling colleges, universities and technical schools.

Sagittarius and Jupiter rule the 9th house of religion, the religious world, religious organizations, religious affiliations and cultures that are also one's religion. The Sun will sextile Pluto at 00 degrees exact. After all, Pluto just moved into Aquarius two (2) days ago, which is still at 00 degrees. Remember yesterday we experienced the first Pluto in Aquarius aspect when it opposed the Moon in Leo, and today we experience the second Pluto in Aquarius aspect as it sextiles the Sun in Sagittarius.

By now, those who study, follow or even slightly pay attention to the planets, now know that in the astrological community, Pluto packs quite a punch. I have written to you many times to think 'power' when you see 'Pluto'. Even so it has been downgraded to a 'dwarf planet' because it lacks 1 out of the 3 criteria to be considered a planet.

Did you now that Pluto is smaller than Earth's Moon? Did you know that Pluto is only half the width of the United States? Did you know one (1) day of Pluto is equal to 6-1/2 days on Earth?

Pluto is a super-slow moving planet. Yes, we still consider Pluto a planet in the astrological world. He is so slow that it takes him 248 years to orbit the Sun, meaning it takes him 248 years to travel through all twelve (12) Sun Signs spending anywhere from 10 to 30 years in a sign. He spent 13 years in Sagittarius, 16 years in Capricorn and now he will spend 20 years in Aquarius in addition to the already 2-1/2 months in 2023 and the 7 months and 10 days he already spent in Aquarius in 2024 before re-entering Aquarius on November 19, 2024.

Pluto is no doubt slow, and definitely small, but boy oh' boy, does he pack a punch. So today Pluto is in exact degrees with the Sun (in Sagittarius, the crusader).

We can expect the masses to 'crusade for a cause' with mighty, loud and explosive energy. We expect 'the crusaders (riders)' to be up on their high horse with their fist in the air, charging forward and talking so f-a-s-t you can't get a word in edgewise. That's just Sagittarius. They have a lot to say as they are the lecturer, teacher, scholar and instructor of the zodiac. Pay attention, it's time to learn!

Mouths will be unloading words that will blow the lids off the powder kegs. Gee, I can't wait to hear Washington D.C. unload their mouths. Listen for hoof-in-the-mouth-syndrome because Sagittarius tends to suffer from 'open mouth insert hoof' as words get twisted and Freudian slips occur.

You can use the Sun sextile Pluto to get projects off the ground, work done around the house and missions accomplished. After all, Sagittarius is not only a teacher, but a workhorse.
