The Sun in Leo opposing Pluto Rx in Aquarius at 2:33 AM EDT.

The Moon in Leo conjunct Mercury Rx in Leo at 10:58 AM EDT.

The BIG NEWS today is the Sun in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius. This opposition between Leo and Pluto is going to occur once a year, every summer until the summer of 2043 because in January of 2044 Pluto will move into Pisces.

So this opposition between the Sun and Pluto can only occur once a year, when the planets are in opposite signs. Leo and Aquarius are opposites, the perfect balance, like Ashton Kutcher (Aquarius) and Mila Kunis (Leo). Opposites attract, like magnet and steel, but can also repel each other when misread, mishandled, mischannelled, misappropriated or missed the point.

Cancer and Capricorn. Leo and Aquarius. Virgo and Pisces. Libra and Aries. Scorpio and Taurus. Sagittarius and Gemini. Each sign is opposite another sign. Each are incredibly similar, but different, and the perfect balance of the other. When misread, mishandled, mischannelled, misappropriated or missed points occur, the balance is thrown off and a tug-of-war ensues. It's as if one sign gets off the teeter-totter (seesaw) on the playground too f-a-s-t and slams the other sign to the ground completely catching the other off guard. And it hurts! It didn't need to happen, but it did. So goes the constant balancing act of opposite signs and here we are for the first round of the Sun in Leo opposing Pluto in Aquarius.
