The BIG NEWS today is Mercury square Uranus at 5:39 PM EDT where it began in applying degrees on July 18, 2023, it is exact today, and will last in separating degrees until July 29, 2023.

Man oh Man, this is a tough aspect to have natally, not only for the individual who has this aspect natally, but for those who communicate with the individual, it can be a constant-correction. Wait, let me correct myself during this Mercury square Uranus aspect and say, "It 'is' a constant-correction." There is no 'can be' about it. Folks, it is tough!

This know-it-all energy can be completely unattractive and hard to get along with, but at the same time, you can't stop listening. You want more because you can't believe what you are hearing. This aspect ALWAYS reminds of John LaRoche, the character played by Chris Cooper in one of my favorite movies of all time 'Adaptation'. Laroche was on the witness stand in court, in his skinny little wirey no-front-toothed-self and said, "I'm probably the smartest person I know." This aspect enjoys learning about everything, which is characteristic of Laroche.

Back on February 21, 2023 when this aspect hit exact last, Mercury was in Aquarius while it was squaring Uranus in Taurus. That go around was super-rough because Aquarius was squaring itself because Mercury was in 'Aquarius' and Uranus is the higher-octave of Mercury. Uranus is also the ruler of Aquarius.

Now this go ahead, Mercury is in Leo squaring Uranus in Taurus. If you thought Mercury square Uranus in February was bad, Mercury in Leo is the opposite energy of Mercury in Aquarius (since Aquarius and Leo are opposite signs) and doesn't make this go around any easier. Maybe you are feeling 'the correction' or have been 'corrected' this week under this 'orb of influence'.

Folks, get your charts out because I'm telling you, this is a tough aspect and you want to know if it's you, or if it's others. And it is common for those who have this aspect natally to constantly-correct or point fingers at others when the person who has this aspect is 'the common denominator' in every correction they are correcting.

This aspect is like having a South Node in Aquarius, which is another constant-corrector. CONSTANTLY! The South Node in Aquarius and/or Mercury square Uranus can NOT accept being wrong. If the can actually have a conversation without correcting, then they have truly evolved and progressed, otherwise this aspect makes it super-difficult to get along with others as there is ALWAYS a problem.

This aspect is wildly 'hare-brained' with 'hair-raising' ideas. It can leave you scratching your head saying, "That's a crazy ass idea, but yeah, that makes sense." This aspect is unrestrained in ideas and implementing them. It's a bit nutty and rebellious, mixed with intelligence, brilliance and expertise. This aspect might be hard to hang with, meaning it has a hard time playing with others because it's so damn serious, but it's pretty cool to sit and listen to someone with this aspect if they can stop picking on you or correcting you.

This aspect is also the classic 'intellectual snob'. Gosh, I need to make another meme to put with this one that says, 'Intellectual Snob'. I'll do that and insert it after I'm finished.

The academic who has to correct everyone or one-up everyone will turn right around and correct the one who had some 'input' or a response and complain that they are being corrected or one-upped becauset this aspect HAS TO HAVE the final word, or the final answer, or the final input. The correction or one-up they complain about is coming out of their own mouth. It's a tough one folks. Only the enLightened will be able to see and own this aspect in their chart, otherwise communication will be a constant problem with others. Constant!

Uranus is naturally obstinate and willful, which when coupled with Mercury can result in foolish thinking. It's a funny, twisted, brilliant and kind of whacky and stupid aspect. I don't mean ignorant, as in not-knowing the information. Now before anyone runs off the rails at the word 'stupid', I'm not calling any'one' stupid, I'm saying stupid as in knowing-better. This aspect is BRILLIANT, but still makes unintelligent and rash decisions, that anyone in their right mind would call stupid.

The juice? Remember this aspect is has some super-intelligent and genius ideas, so whatever you do, keep your ideas to yourself until you manifest them in the physical world. Haven't you ever heard the phrase, "A little birdie told me." Well folks that is Scriptural.

This not only includes talking about someone behind their back (they can probably feel it), this includes talking about 'your stuff' to those who just cannot keep a secret. So keep your ideas, innovations, inventions, thoughts secret until you are ready to manifest them so a little birdie doesn't get wind of it and carry it elsewhere.

Think of all those times when you said, "I thought of that a couple of years ago!" Well if you didn't do something about it, then the birdie came and took the idea to someone else.
