Well folks, hang with me for just a few paragraphs because today's aspect is a doozy (super-interesting) and is not all that bad. It has a bit of protection around it. Even if you are in a super-cruddy relationship, some sort of something just might bring you closer together and you realize, "Dang, I actually really do Love that idiot!" Needless to say, but I'll say it anyway, I have some 'splain'n to do, which will help you wrap your brain around such a relationship scary aspect.

Folks, really stick around for this entire write-up because it has a happy ending and there is all kinds of juicy nuggets in the Venus square Uranus aspect. It's scary and intense, but worth it.

The BIG NEWS today is Venus in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus at 8:22 PM EST where it began in applying (approaching) degrees on January 9, 2023, it is exact today, and will last in separating (pulling apart) degrees until January 21, 2023. Ooooooh, this is some ratcheted-up energy. A whole lot of quicky fiesty verbiage is flying around in relationships, especially those relationships that simply cannot be civil with each other and living under the same roof.

Now this is NOT just romance, it is ALL RELATIONSHIPS, but we can relate our emotions most with romance. So I'm using that example.

Venus naturally rules Taurus, but Venus is in Aquarius. And Uranus naturally rules Aquarius, but Uranus is in Taurus. These two (2) planets are mutually in each others sign.

Meaning, they have agreed to be together, even though they don't want to be together, but they do, but they don't, but okay, get away from me, but I Love you, don't touch me, you make me sick, I can't stand you, kiss me you fool" type of energy.

A mutual reception is when two (2) planets are each located in a sign ruled by the other. This is a beneficial condition, lending harmony and stability to each, and compensates for the detrimental signification otherwise occurring if either or both planets are in its detriment or fall.

A 'detriment' is when a planet is in its opposite sign, which means the planet's power is blocked. And a 'fall', which is the weakest and least favorable placement. A 'fall' is when the planet's nature is restricted and lacks the ability to express its positive or optimistic qualities.

The 'fall' is like saying, "You don't understand me, I can't be me with you, you're holding me back, I'll never be successful with you, I feel smothered, I can't express who I am with you, you don't hear me!"

This is interesting because I half-watched a movie on PRIME or YOUTUBE yesterday called, "Horizon Line." This couple had the relationship I just described. Exactly like that and then suddenly found themselves together in a situation that was actually quite frantic and involved survival, quick thinking and ingenuity. And I mean INGENUITY! It was very Aquarius energy as THE MOST innovative and inventive sign, ruled by Uranus. The movie was far-fetched, but it was a movie, okay?

Anway, I don't want to blow it for you . . . BUT the experience they found themselves in caused them to realize their feelings for each other. I will not give away the ending, but it was worth watching ... astrologically speaking so you will understand this aspect. It was a mutual reception. All told ... they mutually agreed to be in the situation with each other, even though they found themselves in a situation they didn't plan, intend or want to be in. That's all I'll tell you . . . but it was very Venus square Uranus.

What I am saying is, all is NOT lost with this aspect. If there is a shred of Love left in the relationship, it can survive, but you might be thrown into a situation to test the relationship and see if Love squeezes out.

The Uranus glyph represents the cross of matter confined at both sides where matter is being forced up from the bottom circle of spirit. Wherever Uranus shows up, it will force change in your Life. Let's look at the graphic and think about that first line again because it is important.

Where is Uranus (forced change) in your Natal Chart or Solar Return? Interesting!

Notice the cross in the middle. The cross of matter. Matter is that which is physical substance, which is different from the mind and spirit. Matter is being confined from both sides pressing on it, almost like it is being squeezed, as if two walls were coming closer together and closing in on 'matter' thereby confining the space of matter. It's almost as if 'the matter' is being squeezed out or erased.

Often times Uranus will give you the feeling of being squeezed out or erased from something only to squirt you into a different direction. Sometimes being squeezed is exactly what you need. As the squeeze continues, our spirit from the bottom circle will reveal what we are made of and we begin pushing up on 'matter'. It's just like squeezing toothpaste out of a tube. The spirit (our spirit) engages, pushes on matter and shows us just what we are made of and what we can do with our lives. I LOVE THIS GLYPH!

So let's roll our thoughts back to this 'mutual reception' who decided to be 'in it together' only to find out they have to go through something together and see if Love gets squeezed. Isn't this romantic? Well yeah, but who the hell wants to go through that together? Couples who actually Love each other will and do.

Now if there is nothing there, zero, zip, zelcho . . then the bags are packed and someone is ready to go. Maybe someone goes out the front door, while the other goes out the side door. And if you choose that, make certain you DO NOT invalidate the children's DNA by trash-talking the other parent in front of the kids.

I know a handful of lawyers who made a killing in divorces after lockdowns. Those relationships did not survive the impact of such a catastrophe and it was a catastrophe. Families were forced apart, as well as affairs were forced apart. Relationships went through hell and back.

This aspect 'can be' incredibly beneficial in a 'tested' sort of way. Is that what you need in order to lay down the ego and realize Love exists?

Uranus enjoys a Good squeeze. Perhaps you can just hug it out and forego having to be squeezed by the Universe. My Scorpion King and I now 'hug it out' quickly before we get stupid with each other. I mean we jump on it fast and either of us will say, "Let's hug it out" and we SQUEEZE and hold each other TIGHT. U-ran(us)! The 'U' Universe runs us.
