Today the Moon is still in Taurus and will conjunct Uranus in Taurus at 7:25 AM EDT and then square Mercury in Aquarius at 7:16 PM. Conjunctions intensify the energy of the planets involved and squares are pretty much an elbow in your side. Squares have points, right? And when you bump into one it hurts and it can leave a mark, a bruise, hurt feelings, or worse, a scar.

The Moon conjunct Uranus is 'unconventional' in its expression. And how do we express ourselves? Through emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities (the Moon). We also express ourselves through creativity, which may be through a skill or talent, or through our appearance, what we wear or don't wear. Our expression can easily come through how much attention we seek, or none at all. It's different for everyone according to one's own needs, today. Unless of course you have this aspect in your natal chart and then it would show up for you every day.

This aspect does not conform to the status quo, nor does it care what everyone else is doing. The Moon conjunct Uranus is attracted to something 'different, strange, odd and unique'. After all, this planet is different, strange, odd and unique on its own as it nearly spins on its side. You can't miss it in the planetary line-up. It's like seeing the person with bright pink hair.

Here is a warning shot folks. If you feel the need to be publically seen, recognized, noticed or acknowledged, then do not be so surprised when people do. If that is what you are going for, then receive what you sought or maybe adjust your attention-seeking dials.

The Moon conjunct Uranus can keep you waiting on someone or you might keep others waiting. Someone like me will leave or start without you. Late behavior or lack of consideration for others time will gain you attention, which may go over like a lead balloon and create uncomfortable feelings. Choices!

Later in the day the Moon will square Mercury, which causes tension, elbows in the side, as the emotions and communication simply do not connect. Phrases like, "I thought you knew . . . " or "The last time we . . . " or "You always . . ." or "You know how I am!" Do not assume that this aspect will automatically have solid communication.

The feelings (Moon) and thoughts (Mercury) are at odds. This aspect is more like two (2) people saying to each other, "Why didn't you just read my mind!"

Further, there is tendency to dwell on trivial personal matters that may bore the hell out of others. It's just too much chatter about things and people that do not concern the people you are talking to. What is one supposed to do or say in a conversation where they cannot contribute anything you are talking about like your brother's wife's sister's friend. Unless there is a direct link, a conversation about your brother's wife's sister's friend could reveal nothing but a sense of insecurity for lack of anything better to say. OUCH!

Perhaps the signal here is just listen more and talk less. You can learn a lot through listening.

Folks, it is EXTREMELY important for you to read ahead. If you are following your Solar Return, then look ahead. You must look ahead. The Solar Return you are in right now usually lays groundwork for what is to come. For instance if you are going through a time right now where things are groovy and wonderful, then you better look down the road to see what is coming. Typically the Universe is loading your plate so you can gather, store and handle what is to come.

And if you are in the midst of hardship, you can look down the road and see the Light at the end of the tunnel. When you look ahead, then you can prepare. That is the purpose for the Solar Return.

Each house represents a month in the twelve (12) months of your Solar Return from one birthday to the next starting at the 1st house cusp.

When you have a series of blank houses and pretty much nothing going on, then get your sh!t together. Gather and store! Get creative.

Straighten-up and get organized because chances are, when you look down the road several months, you will see a grouping of planets that will either kick your ass, hold you accountable, rain blessings, or have you dancing the cha-cha with your Honey-Love and you want to prepare and be ready.

That way when the hard aspects arrive they do not look, feel or see as hard as you thought. But if you are not prepared, it will feel like hell on earth.

You have probably been hearing in many different ways, "Buckle up" . . but I'm going to take this 15 steps further and say, "Brace for impact!"

Remember and DO NOT FORGET THIS, we are in the 29 degrees of Pluto in Capricorn as Pluto prepares to move into Aquarius (the masses, Congress).

Pluto is going to zip back and forth in and out of retrograde motion in Capricorn and Aquarius until November 18, 2024 where Pluto will then 'stick it to' Aquarius for 18-1/2 years.

This movement back and forth across Capricorn/Aquarius due to retrogrades will literally 'clean house' not only in Congress - the House of Representatives and the Senate, but it will 'clean house' in groups, organizations, memberships, hoity toity gatherings, exchanges, sororities, fraternities, brotherhoods, the masses, legislators, governors, conventions, alliances, boards, municipalities, etc. The mighty are falling (Capricorn) and taking everyone else down with them (Aquarius).

For Goodness sake people - look, read and study your Solar Return.

As a side note, look at the list of 2023 Planetary Retrogrades to the right. Notice that as of January 18, 2023, there are NO PLANETS RETROGRADE up until April 21, 2023 when Mercury will Retrograde 'again'.

So you can expect a lot of awareness, quickness, steadfast forward change, from the masses as they begin to awaken from their slumber-fairy-dust-sleep. There's going to be a lot of, "Oh sh!t".

This is the time to press on the gas and cram as much productivity you can in a short period of time. Oh right up my alley. Cram 55 lbs. in a 5 lb. can.

Folks, it is time to put on your skates because it's a power play. All the skaters are on the ice and you have a chance to score some points with the Universe.

Remember the quote from Wayne Gretzky, the greatest hockey player of all time? "I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been."

Cram as much as you can and get as much accomplished as you can before April 21, 2023. We will take a look back then at today's writing when the time comes.
