Mercury in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus at 2:28 PM EST where it began in applying degrees on February 6, 2025, it is exact today, and will last in separating degrees until February 15, 2025, The Moon in Leo opposing Pluto in Aquarius at 4:21 PM EST. First I have to share with you that the Superbowl pickleball commercial of Willem Dafoe and Catherine O'Hara would be my sister and brother-in-law (both Gemini's). She's 64 and he's 70. They never miss an opportunity to play pickleball and they are very very very active in senior games. Today the Moon moves into Leo, which is LOYALTY and pride. If a person turns their back on their country or weenies-out (takes a knee), then they will turn their back and give-up on anyone, including those close to them. FACTOID! The ONLY reason I watched the Superbowl was to see PRESIDENT Trump at the game bringing back allegiance, National pride, loyalty, respect and American-spirit back to the country and our citizens. I cried seeing American-spirit pour over the crowd and beam through the screen. I LOVE seeing people sing the National Anthem, which is my other sister's favorite song. She's a Leo (loyalty) and will sing that song anywhere, everywhere, alone or together. PRESIDENT Trump is a Leo Rising, with Mars and Pluto in Leo. Pluto is the higher-octave of Mars. He may be a Gemini, but he is heavy-duty LEO! Here is his Natal Chart. Heavy Leo energy does not take disloyalty very well, at all and will NEVER forget it. I am God first, then country, then family, type of person. IN THAT ORDER! In my world, if you lose God in your Life, and lose your country, what do you have left for your family, much less your friends. What is left to help defend them without God and country? If you don't have that, it's open season on your family from the dark forces. That's the Truth! The BIG NEWS today is Mercury in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus, which is the aspect of the brainiac, or the conceited brainiac, or the intellectual snob. ACADEMIA!!! Keep reading . . .
Mercury rules the reasoning and logical (Gemini) mind, as well as the analytical and exacting (Virgo) mind. Uranus is the higher-octave of Mercury. Both Mercury and Uranus rule the weather. Interesting! Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo, which naturally square each other. Squares Beware! And Uranus naturally rules Aquarius, which naturally opposes Leo (today's Moon). This aspect is a patronizing, condescending and lofty mess. Mercury square Uranus will show us those in academia and science, or who are in a position of governing boards, say the dumbest and stupidest things. Word salad for everyone! This is a tough aspect, not only for the individual who has this aspect natally, but for those who have to communicate with the individual with this aspect, as it can be a constant-correction. Let me correct myself during this aspect and say, "IT IS a constant-correction." There is no 'can be' about it. Folks, it is tough to communicate with these people who have the need to be right, because it is off the charts. So wherever Aquarius or Taurus is at 23 degrees in your Natal Chart is where you will feel or see this energy the most because that is the degree of Mercury in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus for this aspect. This know-it-all energy can be completely unattractive and hard to get along with, but at the same time, you can't stop listening. You want more because you can't believe what you are hearing. For this reason, this aspect ALWAYS reminds me of John LaRoche, the character played by Chris Cooper in one of my favorite movies of all time 'Adaptation'. Laroche was on the witness stand in court, in his skinny little wirey no-front-tooth-self and said, "I'm probably the smartest person I know." This aspect enjoys learning about everything, which is characteristic of Laroche. Mercury square Uranus can leave you scratching your head saying, "That's a crazy ass idea, but yeah, that makes total sense." or even, "That's a crazy ass idea, and makes no sense whatsoever, but okay let's give it a shot." Mercury square Uranus is unrestrained in ideas and implementing them. It's a bit nutty and rebellious, mixed with intelligence, brilliance and expertise. This aspect might be hard to hang with, meaning it has a hard time playing with others because it's so damn seriously intellectual, but it's pretty cool to sit and listen to someone with this aspect if they can stop picking on you or correcting you. That's the problem, otherwise you could sit and listen to this person speak all day.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) is the perfect example of a real Life John LaRoche in female skin as she has this aspect natally. It's just so hard to stop listening to her say wildly crazy sh!t and she believes what she is saying. She's her own SNL skit. The academic or intellectual snob who has to correct everyone or one-up everyone will turn right around and correct the one who had some 'input' or a response and then complain that they are being corrected or one-upped. It's insane! This aspect HAS TO HAVE the final word, or the final answer, or the final input. As a word of advice, know when to stop talking and let the last word stand. Lawyers do it all the time when people are on the stand. "No more questions your honor." The corrected or one-upped individual complains about what is coming out of their own mouth. It's a tough one folks. Only the enLightened will be able to see and own this aspect in their chart and channel it constructively, otherwise communication will be a constant problem with others. Let's not forget, the Uranus portion of this aspect, which is ruled by Aquarius carries the motto, "I know therefore I am", which will be screaming in our ears. "How could you not know!?!?" Also keep in mind Uranus (Aquarius energy) has a knowingness as their intuition. The 'I know therefore I am' is often mistaken for intellectual, instead of knowingness intuition. Aquarius is also the circulator, circulating blood around the body and through the heart. So it's not what you know, it's who you know. Take that into consideration and make some contacts during this aspect as you spread and share (circulate) what you know.
