Mercury in Sagittarius opposing Jupiter Rx in Gemini at 5:48 PM EST where it began in applying degrees on November 9, 2024, it is exact today, and will last in separating degrees until January 3, 2025.

The BIG NEWS today is Mercury in Sagittarius opposes Jupiter Rx in Gemini. This is the third time in 1-1/2 months that this same aspect has been present due to a previous retrograde and then direct motion taking us over the same aspect three (3) times in such a short period of time. The way I see it, when this kind of thing occurs, the Universe (God) must think we need it.

Mercury opposing Jupiter is not just any ol' opposition, this is a 'mutual reception', which means both planets are in the opposite sign they rule. Mercury naturally rules Gemini and Jupiter naturally rules Sagittarius, so they have essentially switched places. When this occurs, the planets are lending aid, information and strength to the other sign. It's like the planet is saying, "Here you can have some of mine."

The problem with Mercury opposing Jupiter is it can over-promise and under-deliver. It's a lot of lip service, grand schemes, I'm gonna's, without ever really delivering. It's basically all talk and no action. It shows the tendency to go to extremes, promising more than is delivered. Conversation or words are simply not backed up with action and follow through. There is a constant need to produce thoroughness and attention to detail, because after all, Mercury rules Virgo too, the sign of detail, methods, facts and exactness.

This aspect can also reveal intellectual conceit. Pay very close attention to Congress. As a refresher, Congress is made up of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Each state has two (2) U.S. Senators, which are different than State Senators. There are 100 U.S. Senators and 435 U.S. Representatives. The more residents a U.S. state has, the more U.S. Representatives the state will have.

Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are all three (3) generational planets, meaning they impact the generational attitude(s) and societal trends, patterns, values and behaviors.

Think of generations living today - The Greatest Generation (1901-1927 with approximately 65,000 still living), The Silent Generation (1925-1945), The Baby Boomers (1946-1964), Generation X (1965-1980), Millennials (1981-1996), Generation Z (1997-2012) and Generation Alpha (2012-2024).

Think of what 'The Greatest Generation' has seen and lived through compared to 'Generation Z' who are the youngest voters, fresh out of high school, college age, who haven't even had their first Saturn Return, and think they have already been around the block a time or two. Heck, the first Saturn Return doesn't even show up until age 27-1/2 to age 29. That age group always gets the shock of their Life when their first Saturn return comes around and lets them know it's time to grow up. The first Saturn Return shows just how far we have, or haven't come. Generation Alpha is still too young know or care. The tailend of Millennials between age 27-1/2 and 29 are still getting their ass handed to them or they are being rewarded for a job well done. One or the other.

We don't come into our second Saturn Return until our late 50s and if we are lucky, we will get a crack at three (3) Saturn Return's.

The generational planets have profound and sweeping changes that affect generations of people. So when you think about it, I mean really really think about it, it's no wonder how incredibly wise the older generations 'can be' having been put through so much.

As it was during the Pluto in Capricorn sting, so will it go with Pluto in Aquarius. We will see profound and sweeping changes with Congress, whether it is through a resurrection of the Brunson Case, because Life is really falling apart for the left, or whether it be through Good ol' fashioned arrests, tribunals and executions. No kidding! We will also see profound and sweeping changes with Life, the living and the dead, as well as a complete change in aviation, planes, pilots, etc.
