The BIG NEWS today is Mercury moves out of Leo and into Virgo, which is the mark of 'The Specialist'. Mercury is the planet that rules the mind, communication, speaking, writing, thoughts, thinking and mental abilities. Mercury is a very 'exacting' planet. Mercury wants the details, it analyzes, calculates and searches for accuracy, precision and the needle in the haystack. Mercury looks for mistakes and will find them. Remember this line - "Do you have any thoughts of your own on this matter?"

Virgo is detailed and gives specifics. Mercury in Virgo will grill you like you are being debriefed by an intelligence agency. So before you open your mouth, or write that post, or make that comment, make certain you have your details straight because you will be cross-examined. It's not enough to be vague and mysterious because you will end up being interrogated to your own embarrassment as the reader or listener is looking for some facts or details.

In other words, esoteric (obscure), vague and mysterious communication that is only intended to be understood by those with specialized knowledge will cause push back, walk back and blow back.

It's no secret, I am a North Node Virgo, which is why the horoscopes that I write are so-detailed. I like detail, accuracy, precision, specifics and facts. I want YOU to know why I write, what I write.

About thirty (30) years ago, I connected with this one astrologer who just told me 'stuff', but not 'why'. That bothered me. A LOT! This astrologer never explained anything and it finally dawned on me that the astrologer was empowering her self, and not my self. I don't like that, not even a little bit, and it does not impress me. The astrologer was creating a need for me to need her. In other words, the childish chatter, "I know something you don't know". That did not last too long because my dependence was on God, not her. I was 'not' being taught, informed or empowered. Information was being withheld, as I was being uninformed and disempowered.

Having said that, through my experience and knowledge, and the chart that God gave me, I believe it is my job to empower you, not by 'using' you to empower me. I'm looking to teach you (my Jupiter in Aquarius), not make myself the owner of information. So you can see why esoteric, mysterious and vague babble does nothing for me. I am a 'TELL ME WHY' type of person, or tell me why or don't put it out there at all.

During Mercury in Virgo, if you are going to stand in "I told 'ja so" then be prepared to show evidence of when you told us so, otherwise "don't do that" as Will says. It's easy to say, "I told 'ja so" if you don't have proof that you told us so. It would be best to just keep your mouth shut lest you be embarrassed. Mercury in Virgo is going to ask questions. COUNT ON IT! If you put it out there, be ready to be interrogated because the people want details.

I will admit, I have Jupiter in Aquarius in my natal chart, which is the 'Know-it-All'. My Jupiter e-x-p-a-n-d-s the 'I know therefore I am' Aquarius energy in my chart. I get it. This is precisely why when you come to this website, I want you to leave not just feeling smarter, but actually being smarter than when you came. This is VERY important for me because I am North Node Virgo with Jupiter in Aquarius. I want you to 'get, the get' and have some idea or push in the direction of actually 'knowing' how to use the information. Knowledge IS power . . . but only if you actually use it.

I want you to take your now 'smarter-self' and apply it to your Daily Life (ADLs) to make your Life easier, more enjoyable and fun. Mercury co-rules Gemini and Virgo. Interestingly enough, Gemini and Virgo 'square' each other. SQUARES BEWARE! So right off the bat seeing the word 'square' we know there are two (2) signs between these two (2) signs - Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo in that order.

On the other side of Gemini the square is to Pisces, with that order being - Pisces, Aries, Taurus Gemini. On the other side of Virgo, it squares Sagittarius, with that order being - Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius.

One more little detail . . . the squaring planets are all of the same mode or quadrature. And in each mode (quad) each element is represented - air, earth, fire and water for a well-balanced quadrature. I for one enjoy noticing the balance of the elements in a group setting.
