The BIG NEWS today is that it's a BIG day with a lot of action, AND the BIGGER part of the population will be in a great mood. The Moon in Pisces moving into Aries will be kind, but first . . . let's get into the meat.

If you have been reading my super-long Daily Horoscopes, I just can't seem to stop typing once I start, then you already know that the Sun in Leo opposes Saturn in Aquarius today. Remember, in the Full Moon write-up on August 11, 2022 I wrote about Saturn sitting next to the Moon, and if the Moon was opposing the Sun (creating the Full Moon), the Saturn would also be opposing the Sun since Saturn and the Moon were sitting next to each other. Here is the downloadable chart wheel so you can get another look at that with hindsight.

It's been a couple of days now since August 11th, the Sun moves right at 01 degree a day, so now the Sun and Saturn are directly opposite each other. This 'can be' either the perfect balance or a tug-of-war. You get to play this out how you want. Notice the Astro Meme below shows the expression of frustration, hiding the 'entire' face with the hands. The face is our identity, the Sun is our identity and both are being restricted by Saturn in this case.

When we do not want to see or hear, or if we are embarrassed, or we want to hide ourselves, or we want to stop ourselves from hearing 'certain' news, we cover our face. "NO! I dont want to see this!"

Now folks, keep in mind this aspect came into the 'orb of influence' in applying degrees on August 3, 2022. We were already feeling the prodrome (early symptom) of this energy. We felt it. Our intuition felt it. That's what 'applying degrees' is in your chart. If I wrote your Expansive Natal Chart and Solar Return, I included 'applying' and 'separating' degrees, which reveals the strength of your intuition with that aspect, which also means you can 'develop' your intuition using that aspect. You MUST pay attention to these 'applying' and 'separating' degrees in your charts.

So the Sun opposing Saturn has been reaching out and touching us since August 3, 2022. It is exact today, and it will last in 'separating degrees' (when it finally pulls apart to not matter anymore) on August 22, 2022. That is a wide 'orb of influence'. So this tells us that something is happening or will happen that we don't want to see. Well folks, better to open your eyes, than close your eyes and be blind. In my world and in the state of the current world that means, get the hell out of the way and do not be trouble, heavy, dramatic, or childish, for those who ARE helping and doing their best to do what needs to be done. Shut up and stand aside and let those who can handle 'it', handle it. I'm kinda tough like that and do not plan on dragging anyone. Either stand up or at least crawl, but do not be heavy if I have to pull your ass. These are tough times folks. Prepare. Stand up and go, or if you cannot stand up and go, then just don't be heavy. And by heavy I mean, inactive, trouble, lifeless or dramatic.

The Sun (identity) opposing Saturn shows the personality will have to be toned-down. If you feel the prodrome that is telling you not to do 'that' or say 'that', then that would be the cue to tone-it-down. That's the restriction of Saturn on the Sun (personality). That's this aspect.

It's some SUPER-COOL intuition if you use it that way. If you do not use your intuition, then COUNT ON the experience of throwing your hands over your face in embarrassment or not wanting to see what needs to be seen. You will need to 'temper' yourself. Tone it down.

This is a feeling of 'pulling back' to self-restrict. You might find yourself saying, "Damn it, every time I start to _____________ something happens!" Well then approach that thing differently or in a different timing or different set of circumstances. Stop going 'that' way. That's like knowing there is a detour if you turn left, so you turn left and say, "Damn it, every time I turn left there's a detour!" Oh my gosh, then STOP TURNING LEFT!!! These aspects are hilarious when you think about it and we humans just keep going left.

Think of it this way, maybe you are praying for something that you cannot yet handle. Maybe you just can't handle it yet. Did you ever think of that? Maybe some quick re-evaluation is necessary to get you to the place that you need to be. Maybe you wanted to drive at age 15 . . the answer was "YES" you can drive 'when' you are 16, 'when' you have insurance, 'when' you have a job to pay for that insurance and your own gas. Of course the answer is "YES" but are you ready?

I do not believe for a second that God rolls these bowling balls into our path just to mess with us. Our Good Father would not do that. That does not make sense. It's more like, Let's see how you handle this! Here it comes. So you either handle it or get the hell out of the way. But don't not look. LOOK! So you can see how it is supposed to be handled. Hiding your face won't make it go away or any better. And aren't we about 'better' when using our Astrology? Don't we want to do and be better? That's why we study and use Astrology appropriately, right?

The Sun opposing Saturn can cause a restriction so tight, if it needs to show up that way for you that it creates an identity crisis. You may be in a search for your identity, or your perfect career, which gives you that validation, affirmation and recognition outside of the family unit. Maybe your identity inside the home is restricted and so outside of the home you appear flamboyant and over-painted because of that need for attention, compliments, affirmation and recognition. Just make a clear note to yourself how 'identity' is showing up for you.

This aspect will make you constantly question if you are doing the right thing. The restriction may show up as a feeling 'as if' there is a dark cloud hanging over your head. If you start turning dark, pessimistic and skeptical planet then you KNOW that you are playing right into dark side of Saturn, instead of the Light side of Saturn. The Light side of Saturn would be self-imposed restriction, practicality and reasoning. Not, "Woe is me" and "I can't" type of responses.

At the same, DO NOT expect a lot of atta girl - atta boy type pats on the back. This aspect is not going to coddle and pamper you. It just isn't. If you find yourself fishing for compliments, think before you act because this aspect could leave you feeling embarrassed.

There will likely be restrictions on children since the Sun is the natural ruler of the 5th house of children and in its natural ruling Sun Sign, which is Leo. Saturn is the restrictor and limitor, which can put restrictions on children, in any case.

There can also be BIG problems with an authority figures, or the father, since Saturn is planet of the father and both planets have testosterone associated with them.

The other BIG NEWS today is Mars trines Pluto. WELL SLAP MY EARS WITH JAM AND ROLL ME IN THE MUD!! We LOVE this aspect. Hallelujah Maynard!

While I wrote about being HEAVY above, and so here is the GOOD NEWS! Mars trine Pluto equals power on steroids. Pluto is the higher octave of Mars.

Mars is assertive and aggressive. Mars is muscular and masculine and raw. Taking Mars to the higher octave and that's Pluto, which is POWER!

Mars trine Pluto will get up and act. This aspect is NOT lazy, it is NOT HEAVY, and it will lift. It will get its arms around something and push through its ass and quadriceps, and lift that heavy thing, whether than thing is physical, mental, emotional, chemical or spiritual. This is a great time for rehab or to give up that bad Lifestyle, food, smoking, etc. YOU CAN DO IT!

This aspect has ENORMOUS WILLPOWER. I'm having issues with one of our rescued feral cats turned domestic feline friend. I'm going to win this battle, she just doesn't know it yet. I have willpower that she does not quite understand and I will hold out. (winky wink) She doesn't know who she's mess'in with. So you see, this aspect will work for you in all kinds of situations. Even if you are dealing with someone else's willpower, you have this information and they don't. LOL.

This aspect has the power to succeed and it will when used appropriately. No one has to get hurt, but it's definitely about to go down.

Let's turn this on the state of the affairs of our country and the whole world. Oh yeah . . . it's about to go down and it's already going down. The storm is upon us and this is not referring to Mercury preparing to enter its storm and Retrograde status on September 9th. I'm talking about politically and the 'Spiritual War' we are all in globally.

You will hear God being proclaimed as someone's strength, or you just might hear yourself say, "In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God." God is Source. God is Substance. God is Supply. God is Source, Substance and Supply.

The lunar aspects that are present today are kind and wonderful, so it is a beautiful emotional day with sextiles and a trine to the Moon.

So you see, I delivered the challenging aspect first and THE BEST is Mars trines Pluto. Those of you with birth dates surrounding these dates in applying and separating degrees will have these aspects in your 2022 Solar Return along with a ton of other aspects. Know that you have escape hatches all over your Expansive Natal Chart and Solar Return to get you out of your self-inflicted stunts. We humans!!! Know that these applying and separating degrees are INTUITION!

Once you begin looking at these aspects in a broader sense, your chart will work for you in a smoother fashion because you are using the map that God created 'for you', which is His GPS, man's GPS. So it's okay to follow the GPS (Global Positioning System) made by man, and not God's Positioning System? Really?

Yesterday, the Scorpion King and I went canoeing with a gang of friends. We canoe so well together. So while we were all treking to the river, we were following man's GPS to the letter. Except for when I turned down the volume so we could hear each other talk, we ended up over-shooting our exit and had to back track. Well, we were 'prepared' because we left early enough to allow a few minutes for human error, or detour, etc. Excited grown-ups in a car can be like that. Right?

So we arrived on time as happy campers, who were not camping, only canoeing. Still, it is strange how we trust the human designed GPS to get us to the place that we need to be, but we do not trust and rely as much on God's GPS to get us to the place that He wants us to be.

Realign folks. Realign. Get out your charts and blow the dust off of them. Get back into yourself. We are going to need YOU as sh!t begins to really hit the fan, and I'm referring to the 'Spiritual War'.
