The Moon in Aries conjunct the Sun in Aries at 2:21 PM EDT. This is the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries at 19 degrees 24 minutes.

The Moon in Aries conjuncts Mercury Rx in Aries at 10:39 PM EDT. Lunar aspects have an 'orb of influence' of 12 to 14 hours 'before' and 'after' their exactness.

Yay! My FAVORITE NEW MOON of the year in the sign of Aries, only this year the New Moon in Aries is a Solar Eclipse, like it was last year. What? Yes, there was a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries on April 20, 2023. Then how come there wasn't a big eclipsapalooza last year? Probably because the New Moon Solar Eclipse was not visible in the United States so you cared 'less'. And for all kinds of other 'patterned reasons' that you can research for yourself if you have been on the obsessive end of this eclipse.

The 2023 New Moon in Aries Solar Eclipse was only totally visible in Western Australia and then other places (Malaysia, Indonesia, etc.,) were able to see partial viewings. It was also a hybrid of sorts. I will leave that to your researching pleasure and save me the time writing.

I will not go into the makings and path of this Solar Eclipse because by now you had to have read everyone and their brother's-sister's-cousin's-friend's explanation or take on this Solar Eclipse about the connecting 'Salem' (Jerusalem) towns and the connecting Ninevah towns and the 'X' marking the spot. Plus, if you saw my personal FB page on Wednesday - April 3, 2024 then you no doubt saw the graphics I posted about this Solar Eclipse with some of my thoughts and other Goodies.

For all of you fellow conspiracy theorists, wouldn't that have been something if this New Moon Solar Eclipse was at 17 degrees? Would that have been wild??? Well it's not, it's at 19 degrees.

The Sun, the Moon and Chiron are all in Aries at 'exactly' 19 degrees 24 minutes, sandwiched by Venus in Aries at 04 degrees, the North Node in Aries at 15 degrees and Mercury in Aries at 24 degrees. That is one heck of a Stellium, when four (4) or more planets cluster and line-up in the same sign. The closer in degrees, the bigger the impact.

Further, you can click on the chart wheel is see the planetary line-up of Pisces, Aries and Taurus planets. THAT is exactly the way it looks in the sky. So yeah, you can absolutely say, "The planets are aligned." Check out the chart wheel.

There is a lot of chatter with this year's New Moon in Aries accompanied by Chiron in Aries, so as a gentle reminder, I would like to remind you that Chiron has been in Aries since February 18, 2019 and will last until April 14, 2027. This means Chiron in Aries has been accompanying the New Moon in Aries at escalating degrees every single year since 2019. It has now finally caught up to the New Moon in Aries at the exact degrees and it is a Solar Eclipse, which also means the North Node is near 'in the same sign'. The nodes are always present with lunar and solar eclipses. Yep! If the Nodes were in different signs, it would not be an eclipse.

So it should be no surprise that the North Node is in Aries right now, and the South Node is in Libra right now - since July 17, 2023 until January 11, 2025. There was a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse 'in Libra' on March 25, 2024 accompanied by the South Node in Libra. Go ahead and check that chart wheel from March 25, 2024 right here. I'll wait. See, the Moon was in Libra, and you can see the South Node in Libra, and the Sun was in Aries. The Moon and the Sun in opposite signs = Full Moon.

Now we have the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries accompanied by the North Node in Aries. IT'S A PATTERN! IT'S A THANG! IT'S ASTROLOGY! Dance it out!

Therefore, astrology is best learned by studying the patterns, not studying your former lover's chart. Think of 'the pattern' when you associate 1776 and Pluto in Aquarius. That's another write-up you can read here!

So before you become so shocked that Chiron in Aries is present at the same degrees as the Moon and the Sun in Aries (more reading on Chiron in Aries further down) you may be interested to know that Chiron in Aries 'has been present' at the New Moon in Aries (spring) and Full Moon in Aries (fall) every year since 2019.

Chiron in Aries will continue to be present at the New Moon in Aries in 2025 and 2026, but not in 2027 because on April 14, 2027 Chiron will move out of Aries into Taurus before the New Moon in Aries hits.

In 2020 - Chiron in Aries was at 05 degrees with the New Moon in Aries

In 2021 - Chiron in Aries was at 09 degrees with the New Moon in Aries

So I have to say this is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE NEW MOON of the year (any year) because a 'New Moon' is a time of fresh starts and new beginnings. It is the best time to do something brand spankin' new or introduce something new and/or improved, which I do every single year. I ALWAYS unleash a new project, a new thing or a new beginning on the New Moon in Aries day. Every year without fail I do this.

I was going to wait to post my 'new thing' at 2:21 PM EDT, which is my NEW DRSTANDLEY (ME,ME,ME) LOGO, but then I decided in a rambunctious and ready Aries state, there is no time like the present. You can see this now at the top of each page of the website.

My niece 'Sheyahshe' made this logo for me. I always wear one braid (sometimes two) but mostly one braid. Note the 12 Sun Signs, the sweet grass smoking above my left hand and the smudge stick in my right hand. I just LOVE IT!

So a New Moon is when the Moon and the Sun are in the same sign. Today, the Moon is in Aries and the Sun is in Aries, which equals a New Moon. If the Moon were in Libra with the Sun in Aries, then it would be a Full Moon in Libra, which would be opposite signs.

New Moon = Sun and Moon in same sign.

Full Moon = Sun and Moon in opposite signs.

Once again, repeating, for those in the back, we experienced that Full Moon in Libra on Monday - March 25, 2024, which was a 'Lunar Eclipse'. It was a Moon in Libra, Sun in Aries, which are opposite signs. The South Node in Libra was present thereby creating the Lunar Eclipse. Ta-dah!!!

So let's start 'at the beginning', the very beginning.

You see folks, Aries begins the astrological cycle, as Aries is first sign, the start of creation as the rambunctious and charging ram comes barreling onto the scene and 'springs' into action. "Here I am, ME, ME, ME! Enough about me, what do you think of me?" says the human side of Aries energy. But wait just a dang minute.

The Aries motto says, "I AM therefore I am" . . . . NOT . . . . "I am therefore I am". Look at the AM/am. God says, "I AM therefore I am". Aries is, was and always will be the start of creation. This is what makes Aries 'the most creative' sign. We get our creative abilities from God as He is capital 'C' (Creator) and we are little 'c' (creative). He is the Creator and we pro-create. Our creativity comes from Him. He is Spirit and we have a spirit. Capital 'S', little 's'.

Before Moses descended Mt. Sinai to tell the Israelites what he had witnessed at 'The Burning Bush', he had a question he needed answered from God. Moses knew the Israelites would ask him the name of the One who had sent him.

Moses asked God, "When I come to the children of Israel and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you; then they will say to me, 'What is His name?' What should I say to them?"

God said to Moses, "I AM THAT I AM. Thus shall you say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me (Moses) to you." ~Exodus 3:13-14

Do you see that? God's name is 'I AM'. Do NOT do as I did in my early years thinking 'I am therefore I am' was all about me, or in your case, you. Once I realized my actions of being all up in my Natal Venus in Aries and me, me, me, I changed my entire approach on this website to worship God, not myself. My natal Venus in Aries feels compelled to make my work about God, not about me. My name splattered across the top was to give credibility to my writings. It took a while for me to get 'that get'.

So here we go . . .

The sign of Aries naturally rules the 1st house of our take or approach on the world. It reveals our personality, attitude, character, demeanor, disposition and self-opinion. The first house of Aries also tells our level of aggression, assertion and ability. How able are you or will you be? Interesting huh? If you want to know what will affect, impact or rub your ego more than anything else, it is whatever rules the first house cusp or the planets in the first house of your chart. Again, interesting huh? If you make your world about God instead of yourself, then everything changes.

God literally told Moses what His name is. It is 'I AM!'' This was not a figurative statement. He literally said His Name is 'I AM'. Therefore, since His Name is 'I AM' and you are His child and His heir, which is the root of your Spiritual DNA, then you should never ever use His Name in vain by putting a negative word or phrase behind those two words. In vain meaning being in your own vanity and make I AM about yourself. There is nothing more profoundly false or inappropriate than using His "I AM" presence with anything less than a Loving and positive follow-up announcement.

So when you greet someone and tell them who you are, your introduction typically begins with "I am." From this moment forward, always remember who you are (a child of God) when you use those two words. You are part of Him.

Aries is competitive by nature because it burst, banged, charged on to the scene first. Since it is the first sign, it wants to arrive first, be first in line and it will step over women and children to get there. First in the door and first out. Aries wants to win, as most things are a competition. Be clear about why you are doing what you are doing. Just like I had to get the focus off me, me, me, and onto Him, Him, Him.

Aries may not even be in competition with anyone, not really, because thy are self-propelled, self-motivated and so self-interested, then why would anyone else matter? Who could be Aries competition, really? Unless it is a game or a contest, then Aries is only competing with themselves, getting to their own personal best.

Now let's say you don't have Aries on the first house cusp. All you do is apply everything I just wrote about Aries into the house that you do have Aries. You will be Aries-like in that house where Aries planets are or where Aries rules a house cusp in your chart. Cool? Dance it out!

We could all stand to take a page out of Aries playbook because Aries is a 'survivalist'. Due to the Aries in my chart (and Leo energy) I consider myself 'a survivalist' by nature, and in-nature.

In fact, my Mama Bear LOVED to watch the TV show 'Naked and Afraid' and she thought I should go on that show and thought I would win. I believe I could do it too.

Having said that, Aries WILL BE the last one standing. Where is Aries in your chart?

Now let's go back to your 1st house cusp? What is on the 1st house cusp of your chart? This is what motivates your survival skills to kick into place. What is in your 1st house? Maybe another sign takes over, so you can include that sign too. What planets are there? The 1st house tells what motivates your spirit and causes you to leap into action.

Now for the Solar Eclipse part. Think of eclipses as being on 'steroids'. Simple as that. No need to over-think it. A Solar and Lunar Eclipse always involve both the Moon and the Sun. The Moon rules our emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities. Now think of those emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities on steroids. So it's not 'what' happens to you, as much as it is how you handle it.

Imagine if you will the ancients witnessing a Solar Eclipse. They had to think it was the end of the world. Did they stand outside and look or did they run into the cave, hut, tomb or tunnel? Imagine what they must have thought. Also imagine the other side of the world, who did not 'see' the Solar Eclipse, they probably didn't even react at all and just went about their daily chores.

I DO NOT get too hyped-up about eclipses, Solar or Lunar. I just don't. Well first, I can't let myself lose emotional control because that is a dangerous state of being. It could be my Natal Jupiter in Aquarius, which has that aloof and distant quality about it. I also have a Natal Capricorn Moon, which is a very serious and sobering Moon. My emotions sober up pretty damn quick even when or if I do have a momentary lapse of reason and lose my flippin' mind. (winky wink)

And let's just say, Solar flares, clouding seeding (cruddy weather), evil political and societal actors and hackers take take down our grid, then I can't lose my wits and scream. I have to have my sh!t together and be ready. So whatever happens on or after this day, I need to be ready. Eclipses (steroids) will absolutely shake you into submission or stimulate you to action. Either way, my astrological advice is to stay clear and be clear so you can handle whatever occurs.

And if its Jesus coming down on a white cloud on a white horse, I want to be ready for that too, not cowering in a corner sucking my thumb. I want to be face down (prone), belly and forehead on the ground worshipping Him. If there is natural disaster, a catastrophe, an earthquake, or a tornado, I need a plan, not a self-given hard time. Nope, I'm a survivor - survivalist.

Again, the New Moon in Aries is on STEROIDS with this Solar Eclipse. Let's say this was not a Solar Eclipse and it was a plain o' New Moon in Aries, which is a time of fresh starts and new beginnings. What will you do? How will you handle it? Now let's think of that New Moon in Aries ON STERIODS! What are you going to do, just curl up and scream or be dramatic, or are you going to handle it or do something with this energy? ANSWER YOURSELF!!!

Do you remember in the movie, 'The Ten Commandments' what Moses did when he realized 'The Burning Bush' was the 'I AM' Presence of God speaking to Him? He went prone, right down on his face. Moses took off his sandals, as God Instructed him to do, and then BAM, Moses went right down on his face (prone) and worshipped Him.

If Jesus returns in all His Glory I seriously doubt you will be standing. You will likely fall to your knees in praise and honor of Him crying like a baby. Well, do you believe in God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit or not? If you do believe, then you should know it could happen in your Lifetime, or some time, because it will happen.

Here's the other thing, let's NOT forget that Pluto in Aquarius is transforming the masses, AND it is transforming Aquarian's, AND it is transforming the area in your chart ruled by Aquarius. How 'bout that? So which is it, the Solar Eclipse or Pluto in Aquarius? Or both?

Pluto in Aquarius in the early degrees (01) is rattling our cages and transforming so many lives. DO NOT forget about Pluto in Aquarius right now because it is uprooting, churning, changing and transforming lives left and right. Pluto destroys, then rebuilds. And now we get the Solar Eclipse (steroids).

Pluto is pretty 'steroidal' in his own right, without any help from his friends, like a Solar Eclipse. Exciting times? You betcha!

Sometimes Life has to hand us a 'pink slip' or otherwise we would never change. We have to get kicked out, pushed out and led out with our stuff in a box in order to do our own thing. Uhhhhhh, Moon in Aries, Sun in Aries, Venus in Aries, Mercury in Aries . . . Aries, Aries, Aries, Marcia, Marcia, Marcia. Remember the Brady Bunch and that line from Jan, "Marcia Marcia Marcia!" That was a very Aries scene.

On so many levels with so many people, left, right and center, I am hearing of home changes, job changes, children changes, financial changes, and relationship changes, and when it all gets boiled down, it's all Good. The pink slip was a necessary push in order to get one to fly. We could all stand to take a brave page out of Aries playbook where they do not skip a beat. They just keep going, like the Energizer Bunny.

The change (on steroids) might have to be in your face, where you are being pushed out, led out, or told to get out. The ol' pink slip. For you younger folks, back in the day, the pink slip was something given to an employee when they were being let go. If you didn't get pushed, you wouldn't fly.

A lot of times during a phone reading, when I feel the need to say something 'tough' or 'hard', then I will say something to the effect of, "Okay, I'm going to put my foot in your back and push you out of the nest? Are you ready?" Then I will say what needs to be said because clear-to-me the individual can fly, they just need to be pushed over the cliff or out of the nest. Suffice it to say, I do give a fair warning that I'm about to push or smack them in the forehead with my invisible 2x4 and leave a few splinters for reminders.

A lot of birthdays right now are experiencing a collection (stellium) of planets in Pisces, Aries and Taurus, with Aries being the Stellium and I will roll with Pisces too. Notice in the pdf chart wheel for today's New Moon in Aries Solar Eclipse that there are a bunch of houses with NO PLANETS. NONE! Pluto in Aquarius is the lone ranger, but still, take a look at that chart wheel of so many houses with NO PLANETS.

Back to the New Moon Solar Eclipse on April 20, 2023. Here is the chart wheel for it. Remember the BIG HUGE hulla-ba-loo about it? Yeah me either. That's because we didn't see it here in the U.S. It was a hybrid eclipse, partly-partial and partly-total and was pretty much only visible in parts of Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Vietnam, but none-the-less, it was a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries at 29 degrees.

You might also say, "Hey, the North Node was in Taurus, not Aries, how can that be a Solar Eclipse?" Look very close at that North Node in Taurus. It's 00 degrees 04 minutes. The North Node is still right there, only 04 minutes away from the Sun and Moon in Aries at 29 degrees. Actually, 14 minutes away if you consider that the Sun and Moon were at 29 degrees 50 minutes. The Nodes are always clear and present when there is an eclipse. ALWAYS!

Today's New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries at 2:21 PM EDT will be at 19 degrees 24 minutes along with Chiron in Aries at 24 minutes. Now come on! How wild is that, that Chiron in Aries is at the exact same degree and minute as the Moon and the Sun. You know what that makes me wonder? It makes me wonder what was happening in 1924. Take a peek at the chart wheel and look at it.

If you are interested to see what all occurred in 1924, here is the link to that timeline. Interesting information, that's the year J. Edgar Hoover was appointed to the head of the FBI and who eventually became 'public enemy number 1' as he reigned and ruled for 48 years.

Perhaps the 1924 signal in degrees and minutes tells us the global corruption will soon come to an end, as it began back in 1924 with the appointment of J. Edgar Hoover and the birth of George H. W. Bush.

You see, born in 1924 George H. W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States eventually came to serve as head of the CIA.

That is also the year that U.S. President Calvin Coolidge signs the Indian Citizenship Act, which declares all Native Americans to be American citizens. Imagine that!

Anyway, I find the 19 degrees 24 minutes of the Moon, the Sun and Chiron not to be a fluke or an accident and deserves our attention and investigation.

CHIRON IN ARIES from February 18, 2019, until April 14, 2027. Chiron was only discovered in November of 1977. Chiron is known as 'the wounded healer'. Looking at how Chiron has shown up in each sign since 1977, it's pretty clear that 'the wounded healer' label fits pretty dang well.

Chiron represents our emotional and physical wounds. It reveals the part of us that is hurt, small and vulnerable. This is where we are encouraged to heal our wounds, and then look beyond our personal realm, to see the suffering of others, and to become teachers and healers. We all have it in us to become healers and teachers.

Who doesn't just want to help people? Whatever we do, it is always to serve or help others. That is how God made us and we just can't help it. But how in the heck could we possibly help others if we don't understand them. The guy or gal leading the AA meeting is of course an alcoholic himself or herself. How would he or she possibly understand others in the group if they were not an alcoholic too? Our service is never about others as much as it is about ourselves.

Notice how Chiron is represented by a symbol that looks like a key. This key, unlocks the wound, that we are to heal and embrace, in order to use, to help others. We cannot heal it, if we do not unlock it. Oh my Goodness, if you all only knew, really knew, what it took in order for me to bring this website to you, it would blow your mind. It's all water under the bridge now, but I walked and beat a path, along the path, to get to this place right now. I went through some crazy times that I can't really even speak of, not yet, but I was obviously working on a 'self-worth' path at the time too. Now? I have self-worth down cold! Over time, I earned my stripes and my new and improved Life.

As I watched the patterning of Chiron through the years through my natal chart, it gave me a wonderful guide of hope as I moved through each sign. Chiron can transit a sign from anywhere between 1-1/2 years to 9 years. What kind of whacked pattern is that? Well, as the wounded healer, isn't that how our wounds operate, at a whacked pattern?

Chiron spends the most time in Pisces and Aries at 8 and 9 years, which is interesting since Pisces ends the astrological calendar and Aries begins a new astrological calendar.

Aries is the 1st sign and Pisces is the last sign. Aries is the beginning and Pisces is the ending. Interesting that Chiron's transit lasts so long in these two signs. I guess it's what we need and the Universe (Father) always knows best.

Also, think about wounds and how long it takes for different wounds to heal. There are scratches that are superficial and some that go deep and require a Band-Aid. There are bruises that are deep to the bone and some that are superficial. We see the healing of a bruise taking place by noting the color. Think of diabetic wound care and how delicate and dangerous it is.

Chiron can takes years to heal in therapy with a counselor or a stint in rehab. Chiron can heal with a gauze dressing or laying in a hospital bed. Chiron can heal go through out-patient surgery or heal naturally through home remedies and Lifestyle change. It's entirely up to you, but the transit time of Chiron in a sign will give us a pretty Good indication of how long this healing will take.

In this round of Chiron through the sign of Aries, it will take eight (8) years of self-care and putting your mask on first. NOT to protect others from you, but to protect yourself. Let's be clear about that. (winky wink) Plus, we know we can't help others unless we help ourselves FIRST. Chiron in Aries says, "Help yourself FIRST!"

It is also important to reminder you that Aries arrives on the scene FIRST. This is why FIRST RESPONDERS are Aries type of people. Aries energy runs into the fire, not away from the blaze. Aries is courageous, leads and dips its head down and charges foreward.

Think about this with so much Aries energy present as the Sun is in Aries until April 19, 2024. Venus is in Aries until April 29, 2024. And Mercury is in Aries until May 15, 2024.

This is time for you to break that mold that you keep doing over and over again causing you to remain in the same place except on different day and different year. Check your natal chart to see where this 9 year transit of woundology and healing is taking place in your Life.

This energy can be a tremendous growth spurt for those who choose to accept this mission and blaze a new trail, not only for yourelf, but others. When you beat a path and blaze a new trail, it leaves a beaten path for others, which is clearly visible to them. Many of you will be leading the charge, even in the political sense.

Aries energy says, "I AM" . . "I am" . . The I AM/am presence within. You are not to blame anyone for how your Life turned out to be the way that it is. Along the way, you chose, you picked, you accepted or declined.

Remember, if it is to be, it is up to ME because Aries is all about -- me, myself and I. There is no blame or finger pointing with this energy, either put up or SHUT UP!

Whenever I see a Natal Chart or a Solar Return with several houses with no planets as in the chart wheel today, I see it as the Universe (God) giving the individual time to be creative, to lay the groundwork, do homework, get ready, prepare, originate, come with up, clean up and investigate options. The individual is being given time, with time off, to prepare for the time when the collection of the planets down the road is so busy.

Well, we are in the POW PERIOD of this planetary action. The big chart in the sky has been looking like this since the planets moved out of Aquarius and into Pisces and Aries filling up those houses. Look at it!

A lot of us conspiracy-theorist-rebellious-nuts (that's a compliment) have been wanting some action and we are going to get it. You must remember that we are also in the midst of the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction, which began in applying (approaching) degrees on February 16, 2024 and it will last in separating (pull apart) degrees until June 16, 2024.

THIS IS the biggest astrological event of the year, not the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aries. Not because it takes 13-14 years to make an appearance, but because it is such a Life changing and Life altering event.

URANUS = sudden change in circumstance whether you like it or not, with or without your permission. It is unexpected change. And what you expected in the unexpected, is not what you expected. Expect that!

On another note - this coming June, July and August 2024, I will 'not' be writing ANY Natal Charts or Solar Returns. I'm lining up my Life so that I can take this break in order to complete a different project, which will take all of three (3) months to accomplish.

I believe EVERYONE should have their Natal Chart, which is pretty is the fingerprint of your Life. It never changes. At least 'they' haven't found a way to jack with your fingerprint like 'they' have your DNA. (Insert massive dose of smartassiness.) Thank God, the Natal Chart also reveals where health issues will arise, so there's that. Anyway, the Natal Chart never changes and it is something you are always working through and working on.

The Solar Return is the report that reveals what your 'year' will look like from one birthdate to another. So if your birthday is today, then your Solar Return chart begins and it will last until your birthday next year. Now keep in mind the Universe does not speak our language as in - Monday, March 11, 2024. The Universe rolls by math and coordinates. So your birthday may have actually been yesterday or maybe it is tomorrow, when your birth 'date' is March 11th.

The Solar Return is when the Sun 'returns' to the same degree and minute it was when you were born. So that could be a day earlier or a day later, depending on your residence (location) today, which is likely different than where you were born.

Some people will choose to go on a vacation on their birthday to change their location for their Solar Return and the Astrologer will calculate that location, but I do not agree with that method. It's not the Truth. You can't fool or trick the Universe. The Truth is it's a vacation, and you will still have to return back home to your Life, to your mortgage, your bills, your relationships, your neighbors, your job and dot dot dot.

In the Solar Return, each house represents one month. There are 12 houses, there are 12 months.

I advise you to get your Solar Return 'at least' three (3) months before you birthday, simple because the planets could already be coming into the 'orb of influence' and you would be feeling the energy.

For instance, Venus moves into Pisces today impacting all birthdays from today until April 5, 2024. Those of you with birthdays between today and April 5th will already in this Venus in Pisces energy. You need to know this, especially since Venus rules both Love and money.
