MARS SEXTILE SATURN

This is an easy aspect showing cooperation between two planets which leads to opportunity. It has a positive blending effect on the planets. Sextiles are considered a "soft" or "easy" aspects that reflect the planets involved. They have a way of delivering you an opportunity. It's as if the phone is ringing or there is a knock at the door. Again, it is your choice to answer the opportunity. Opportunities can reveal themselves under the strangest of circumstances.

It is important to understand that Mars is busy, hyper and action-oriented. Mars is assertive, aggressive and competitive. Mars has strength, endurance and power. Saturn rules stability, responsibility and longevity. Saturn is also disciplined and cautious. Saturn is lasting and will stand the test of time. Saturn rules time.

This sextile is the classic placement that makes an individual a hard worker who has physical discipline. This can show up as the individual who has a firm and strong work ethic to the individual who works out at the gym everyday without fail, or both. When this aspect shows up then workmanship coupled with precision is revealed. This aspect also brings about mechanical talents.

Folks, these aspects always leave room for your 'free will', so you can mess this up if you want to and take the long way home. It's nothin' but a choice and you get to leave with your choices.

Mars sextile Saturn is competitive and hardworking, just like the Astro Meme with the dog disciplined with the treat. Folks, you MUST hold your attention, your focus (drishti) and your gaze. Think about the noises, individuals and situations throwing detours onto your path.

If you lose your focus and start screaming at your Loved ones, then I guess you can't handle the load, right?

Don't be so quick to brag about what you can handle if you can't handle your own stuff THAT YOU CREATE! When you lose your mind and start yelling it's clear what you can and cannot handle. OUCH! MOM MAKE HER STOP!

The Mars sextile Saturn aspect wants you to initiate and hold your discipline. Saturn is all about maturity, responsibility and self-control. When you lose yourself, you are not showing what you can handle, you are showing what you cannot handle. Chances are, you are an adult reading this, so grow up.

I wrote the following on FB with respect to this aspect . . .

"Mars is aggressive and Saturn is the worker. Saturn lives to get sh!t done and move the needle. Mars has rocket booster energy and Saturn wants that sense of accomplishment. Saturn wants the reward, award, promotion, raise, treat, etc., and he will work for it.

You have to engage in 'enough' self-discipline to make a difference. A little self-discipline just today isn't enough. You have to commit.

Saturn is actually the Good father and proud papa who wants to reward his child for a job well done. But if you sit on your ass, Saturn will take off his belt of rings and swat your ass. Saturn will give you exactly what you earned. It's really that simple.

Saturn rules the mountains and the mountain climber (Billy goat). Saturn enjoys covering tough terrain, which is his jam. Saturn only knows how to go UP!

Mountain climbing is not for everyone, so not everyone will reap the rewards of Saturn because they don't want to sweat, or it's too high, or it takes too long, or . . . or . . . or . . .

Heck, some can't even stick by what they believe, even when times get tough.

It reminds me Nathan, right before God (through Moses) was getting ready to part the Red Sea. Nathan was giving up, standing in fear, yelling at everyone how bad the situation was and to turn back, and return to Egypt, to Pharaoh. He was trying to get the masses to give up on Moses because you know, things weren't happening fast enough. Nathan was the fearful one.

Folks, this aspect is perfect for this day, for this week. YOU HANG IN THERE!!! Dig your fingernails into the side of the mountain you are climbing AND HOLD THE 'F' ON!!!

While all of the Nathan's around you can't commit and stand the test of time, you can, SO YOU HANG ON! HANG IN THERE!

The Universe will feel your commitment and vibration. YOU HANG IN THERE!!
