This is an easy aspect showing cooperation between two planets which leads to opportunity. It has a positive blending effect on the planets. Sextiles are considered a "soft" or "easy" aspects that reflect the planets involved. They have a way of delivering you an opportunity. It's as if the phone is ringing or there is a knock at the door. Again, it is your choice to answer the opportunity. Opportunities can reveal themselves under the strangest of circumstances.
It is important to understand that Jupiter is lucky, adventurous and abundant. It is also very benevolent, generous and philanthropic. Jupiter also rules religion and higher education. Jupiter also expands whatever it touches, while Uranus is the planet of a sudden change in circumstance, much like a lightning strike. Uranus also represents innovation, invention and independence. It literally strikes out and strikes out on its own, like lightning. Uranus is unconventional and electrifying; thereby bringing about sudden change in an instant, which can show up as being erratic. You can pretty much expect the unexpected when Uranus is involved.
Jupiter sextiles Uranus is a great aspect, which causes us to ask, "Is this really happening?" Sudden fortune, sudden luck, sudden abundance, sudden attention and sudden breakthroughs. Was it sudden or was it really earned?
Let's remember that Jupiter is the MOST FRIENDLY, optimistic and happy-go-lucky planet in the Universe. It's singing and dancing while it showers, cooks, drives, walks, etc. And remember, Jupiter e-x-p-a-n-d-s whatever it touches. In this case the higher-mind and the 'outer limits' are being expanded.
Uranus is the genius planet, which is the higher-octave of Mercury, which rules genius Gemini. It's so far out there in expanded consciousness that the mind has gone into the 'Twilight Zone' (cue the music), which means things that you had not even considered all that can be considered. Oh it's happening! This is a Good aspect. This is cosmic, highly ethereal and 'out-there'. Since Jupiter rules the 9th house of sight, dreams of the mind and visions, this is why this aspect is capable of profound foresight and prophecy.
Jupiter sextile Uranus is optimistic, progressive in approach, futuristic in thought and idea, and likes to be around people; therefore, many friends will be present. Uranus is the natural ruler of THE FRIENDLIEST SIGN of the zodiac, which is Aquarius. If you play this card right it will make you well-liked and accepted among groups. This aspects wants to spend time with humanitarian groups and organizations with an altruistic calling. This is the placement of the futurist who seeks to break down old ways and orthodox tendencies and add more of a metaphysical bent.
Good fortune will follow this aspect as a bi-product of one's actions. That sounds like Good karma to me! There are opportunities to profit financially through progress.
So about Sally Field accepting her Academy Award, she did not lose herself to the grandeur, the attention, the center-stage. And she was GRATEFUL and sweet! "You like me! Right now! You like me."
So often when awards, titles, laurels, distinctions and honors are given, the receiver loses themselves to the award itself. Then the hunger is gone. They become lax and feel entitled. Often times with the Academy Award the winner hits the pinnaacle goes on to make not so great movies. Sometimes they go on to win and win, but many times, it is known 'in the circles' that divorce follows, and sometimes a fall from honor or grace follows.
In other words, be mindful what you wish for lest you not be able to handle it and lose something more important than an award or a title.
I'm just sayin' folks, you better be able to handle the attention, the business, the rise, the financial raise, etc., that these aspects can have on you.
It all sounds great until someone starts digging up dirt or your ego gets so big that the Universe decides your ego needs to be popped and deflated (Jupiter).
Actors are public figures, as are politicians, where we can read about their lives anywhere. They themselves agree to put their lives out there on display. The craving for attention and approval is beyond.
Be careful about putting your Life on display (social media). While you may not consciously consider what you are doing, if you are doing it publically, you will end up inviting a host of characters you never intended and you might be saying, "Is this really happening?" of a different sort.
