As of this writing www.google.com holds the #1 spot both globally and nationally; www.drstandley.com traffic rank globally is 81,270 and the traffic rank nationally in the U.S. is 23,144. It is quite a feat to be in the top 1,000,000 (million) sites or even the top 100,000 sites. Since the goal is to have the lowest number possible, then you can see this is pretty much a rockin' site out of a half billion websites world-wide. Enjoy!~

All around us, people are in need. Personal tragedies occur on a daily basis, and touch our lives through family, friends, co- workers, neighbors, etc. A great many of us find ourselves unprepared when these life changing events occur, and all to often need to seek assistance. Many times this assistance is sought by way of benefit events, auctions and sales. There exists a need for quality items to draw interest and money to these fundraising events, and that is where The Awiya Project wants to help.

The Awiya Project is a crowd funding campaign to raise the money needed to create quality fine art to be donated to Lou Ewersdonations to public venues to provide public art. Small community public libraries, schools, and public meeting spaces are all places deserving of public art to inspire the creative spark in all people. The artists of The Awiya project provide their time and talent, while the funds of the crowd funding campaign provide the materials, so that a high quality, finished work of art can be available to people, groups and organizations in need. We hope to inspire not only those that view the work, but other artist as well, to engage the giving spirit and answer the call for help in our communities.

Inspiration, expression, and compassionate giving are the core values in The Awiya Project. We hope to awaken the light within all people, to invigorate the sense of community, so that giving hands can reach across great distances, and strengthen bond of interconnectedness that ties us all.
