Bicycle riding is an aerobic exercise that is a non weight-bearing activity and is less stressful to your joints. It will increase your circulation, improve blood transport, increase oxygenation to cells, and increase elimination of toxins.

Stationary bicycles offer more environmental control than outdoor bicycles. There are not pauses in pedaling as there are when you ride on the street. If you exercise at the proper level, sweating will help your body excrete toxins.
