You can help fund many of the services that I offer for 'FREE' through donating to this website. Not only does this satisfy the Universal Law of Reciprocity (an exchange of chi' between you and me thereby creating balance) but you would also be helping others receive services that they may not otherwise be able to afford.

The only way I can continue to personally provide myself to you for free is through donations because the unpaid hours means that I would have to take time off my paid work. If I take time off paid work to do unpaid work, then that would create an increase in my paid work fees in order to fund the unpaid work. aaarrrrggggghhhhhh! Oh it's just a vicious cycle. This website has become so busy that more of my personal time is in demand and most recently I have been faced with having to raise my fees again. There are so many more pages I would like to create for you and so many more e-books I would like to write and offer to you FOR FREE! Through your donations I can continue to provide many more free services and reading material.

After over eight years of writing this website full-time (all by myself) I have to come to the place where the site is so busy and popular that I either have to start advertising (using banners from other websites) or I have to hire 'other people' to do the work. Now, hiring 'other people' to do the work wouldn't be a problem except I believe the information and personal services I offer to you 'for free' is what you actually want to receive from me 'personally' and not from someone who I have hired to 'appear as me'. I feel that I have earned the trust of those who have continued to come back to my website for useful, valuable and applicable information. Further, I happen to enjoy answering my own phone, which means you never have to go through 'other people' to get to me. "You had me at Hello". (winky wink)

This website is over 3,000 pages and there are many sections that I still have yet to complete. You can only imagine how many hours it takes to sit down and write each page out of my head and then create the color, background, images, etc. And I want to do more and more and more for you, which would mean hundreds more hours of time. As you can see, I have many more pages to complete such as: Love, Romance and Compatibility section, the Herbology Listings section, the Health Topics section and so many more. I have to admit, it is a tough pill to swallow when someone e-mails and complains about an unfinished page because they are essentially complaining that I'm not doing enough for them for free. I know they just don't understand the 'free time' that is involved that I have to do in my 'free time' in order to create this site. If I hire someone to do this, then it wouldn't be me.

EXAMPLE #1 -- I spend about three hours a day (which I do not charge a fee) personally answering and returning phone calls regarding health care questions, astrology questions, miscellaneous questions and sometimes talking people down off a ledge due to a broken heart or injured spirit. And these calls come in 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Since the internet never closes, neither does this website. Granted, I can't be available every minute but I come pretty dang close.

EXAMPLE #2 -- I spend about two hours a day (in between health consults, writing charts and astrology readings) just writing and updating the horoscopes pages on this website.

So you can see, that is only two examples totaling five hours a day of necessary time to keep everything up and running on a timely basis, which happens every single day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The world wide web never sleeps and sometimes neither do I. Then there is updating and creating other sections of this website beyond the regular five hours spent every day. If you can afford to contribute to this website, then I would be more than appreciative because it would really make a difference in my overall timing and ability to get things accomplished. Much less it would fund the purchase of new programs and services that would speed up my personal creation and production.

This website (as of the the 4th week of April 2009) is currently ranked 107,837 out of 231,510,169 websites in the world with #1 being the best site which is currently held by Google. So you can see this is a incredibly rockin' site, therefore, the demand is set pretty dang high and it's only me behind this screen. There is no team of people behind this website. There is no 'you people' at drstandley.com. It's just me, God and all the angels He has sent to help me, especially when I feel like tipping over from exhaustion.
